An immersive, personal and highly technical class, for experienced glass fusers ready to take their practice further.

Over four days, you’ll design and create your own small stained glass panel, combining traditional leadlight craftsmanship with contemporary fused glass techniques.

This in-depth masterclass bridges the worlds of heritage and modern glassmaking — expanding your skills, confidence, and creative range. With just two participants per class, you’ll enjoy extensive one-to-one tuition, space for open discussion, and the freedom to explore your own artistic direction.

You will:

  • Develop an original design within classic leadlight parameters.
  •  Learn a selection of making and firing techniques using Bullseye glass powders and frits to create bespoke fused glass sheet.  We will cover a variety of powder printing, and mark making techniques using stencils, dilutions, and different application and firing methods.
  • Learn how to mix, apply, and fire traditional glass enamels to hand-paint imagery for your panel.
  • Cut, select, and combine complementary glass colours, then assemble, lead, solder, and cement your finished work
  •
  • Each stage is fully demonstrated and individually supported, allowing you to work with confidence and precision throughout the process..

With only two to a class you will receive a high degree of expert tuition and there will be plenty of time to explore different avenues of discussion regarding techniques that may interest you.

Courses are held in my garden studio in Bognor Regis. Located in a beautiful, peaceful and flower filled setting, with resident cats and all the facilities you need,  you will be surrounded by inspiration.
