Telling a richer story by combining techniques
The Glazier · Summer 2026
In this three-page feature for The Glazier, I look back over thirty years of working with glass—from cutting my first piece during an evening class in Adelaide to developing a practice that brings traditional stained glass together with kiln-forming, painting and casting.
This is the first of a two-part feature. The second part, focusing on the Platinum Window, will appear in the Autumn 2026 edition.
Published in The Glazier, Summer 2026, pages 3–5.

Royal tribute: The Platinum Window
The Platinum Window at St Mary the Virgin Church, Felpham, was featured in the Church Times following its installation in 2025.
Commissioned as a community-funded memorial to Queen Elizabeth II, the window was created using traditional stained-glass construction alongside fused glass, painted enamels and shallow bas-relief casting.
